stuff, again

too much to do, not enough hours in the day.
my dinner tasted mouldy, even though i couldnt see any.
we are alive for only a fragment of time.
and some shites think its best spent torturing animals.
i dont believe in life after death, but for some people i do wish they would burn forever.

Dear Northern Line

We've been going out together now for seven years but i feel recently you have just let me down too many times. The straw that has broken the camels back is when you unexpectedly left me this week and not telling me when you would be back.
I have been faithful to you all this time, apart from when we were 'on a break' for 18 months. But in the past few weeks it just hasnt felt the same. I see you every morning and evening, and Ive enjoyed the ride. However I think your not ready to commit to me. I have been flirting with a couple of others, even a girl called Victoria.
At the end of the day, Ive found somebody new, somebody that is going to get me back into shape and appreciate me more. I'll still see you sometimes, but this is the end.
goodbye from minnow.

formulating

i have been establishing what minnowtown would consist of. and here it is:
- a farmers market. complete with nice beets, duck eggs and fantastic cheeses. would sell asparagus bunches for 60p, like irl on saturday.
- a nice bead shop. hopefully the one in covent garden will live up to expectations as a model for the MT version.
- a nail bar. not as cheesey as kates nails in 'stenders. more like the one i went to on saturday where a little piece of china exists in england, they only speak cantonese (or mandarin, cant tell really) except for the ten year old who takes over 'air brushing' half way through. child labour, we love it.
- a smoothie bar. full of nice drinks, not oily men.
- a restaurant a bit like the ivy. i saw ronnie barker last time i was there (RIP)
- a nice pub inbetween an old cosy one with a fire and a nice new one with big sofas and wooden things
- a cinema showing arthouse and foreign films. complimentary video/dvd shop only stocking arthouse and foreign films.
- a swimming pool. one for inside days and one for outside days. no weeing or kids under 18.
- a nice jewellers. with big fat bling diamonds.
- lots of recycling, wind farms and energy consumption reduction things.

minnow says...

i dont actively purchase any newspaper, i read the sun and guardian online, bbc news is on all day in the office and theres always a free metro knocking round on the tube. i have noticed, that without parental guidance stickers, the granuiad has a fair few swear words in. not that i'm bothered of course, but its more of a sign o' the times, like prince said. id prefer my kids to read the granuiad than shoot each other up on some shitty game.
i was reading an article on there today however about a lady who decided to try and live her life by buying everything from tescos, you know food, clothes, insurance, credit cards etc. in an instant it made me think about the farmers market and not going to sainsies, so thats my plan for tomorrow.
i hope it will remind me of little village markets in france, with tasty homemade style fare. i am hoping my incentive to get fit (not being able to fit into any clothes) wont distract me from buyin lots of yummy things. ooh torygraph has a deal on eurostar, so i could even go to france as well. yay!!!
ooh i enjoyed these articles very much too.
